Situated on the most southern province of China, with spectacular panoramic views of Beibu Gulf, the Octopus Hotel is a super 5-star luxury resort with 525 rooms at Long Mu Bay, Hai Nan Island.
Inspired by bionics architecture, the design of the hotel has adopted the organic forms of an octopus (tentacles), integrated with indigenous fishing culture (the fishing basket as centre tower). As a super luxury resort destination, the hotel aims to provide a unique and world class experience in dining, conference, shopping, spa, entertainment and sports with features like 180° ocean view suites, an underwater restaurant, a marine pier at the lobby, terraced edgeless pools and a sky bar.
By its completion in 2013, the Octopus Hotel is deemed to be a masterpiece of hotel architecture and holiday destination, within the whole 500 acres of Long Mu Bay International Tourist Resort.
